Anfeh Taht-El-Reeh Marathon 2001

Four days before Hani went to Lebanon, a friend in Anfeh emailed him asking for help. He is a member of "Friends of the Sea", of which Hani is a founder. When the founders of Anfeh.com, knew he wants help in order to organize an activity in Anfeh from which the town and people will benefit, they happily offered all the help they could provide....

On Sunday, the 19th of August 2001, many people from Anfeh and the area gathered in the morning at Taht-El-Reeh in order to participate or watch Anfeh Taht-El-Reeh Marathon 2001.

There were 24 teams, 2 people each, competing for the three first places. Every team had to complete the race, individually. The team with the best time wins. The race area and steps are described in the chart below.

After the marathon, there was a beach party, during which Hani members of Friends of the Sea gave the prizes to the winners.
