Anfeh.com Fifth Annual Party - 21st C. Endowment Fund

The St. George 21^st Century Endowment Fund was established in 1997 to support a Pastoral Assistant and a much needed Youth Ministry Program.  At the time of its inception, His Eminence Metropolitan +PHILIP noted that ours was the first parish of the Archdiocese to create an Endowment Fund for such a purpose. His Eminence gave us our theme “Each one of us has a gift from God, it is not the same gift for everyone” which challenges us to support the 21^st Century Endowment Fund according to each persons ability. A goal of $500,000 was set as a base before any interest from the funds could be drawn.  To succeed, the program anticipated 100% parishioner participation.  Thankfully, many parishioners contributed generously to the initial phase of the fund. Now, through investing with Merrill Lynch, the 21^st Century Endowment Fund stands at $434,470.  We’re within sixty five thousand dollars of reaching our goal and having this Endowment Fund start working to benefit our parish.   We have refocused on the 21stCEF and hope to reach our goal within the year.  To help revitalize the 21^st Century Endowment Fund, our upcoming ANFEH.COM Dinner-Hufli is being jointly sponsored with St. George Parish and all proceeds are earmarked for the 21stCEF.  By supporting the May 27^th Dinner-Hufli each member of St. George family brings us that much closer to achieving our goal and funding our Youth Ministry Program and Pastoral Assistant.  Support the Parish, attend the Hufli, grow the Fund.
