III- As in the
past years, Anfeh.com recognizes university graduates to encourage
education. - We congratulate the sons and daughters in Anfeh who graduated this year or have passed the official government exams. It broadens our minds, expands our knowledge, and helps us become more tolerant people.
Education is a key to a better tomorrow.
It is sad to see many of the young Anfeh generation taking education
as an option. They are Anfeh’s future. I ask the parents to emphasis
the value and importance of a good education. And for the younger
generation to realize that education is a must and not an option. It is
the reality of today that with an education, more opportunities are
created. Whatever
circumstances one might have, this country
offers schools and programs that fit anyone’s schedule and needs. We
hope that every year we will be able to award
many of our students. The list of people this year is: -
Nabih
Daaboul: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of
Bridgeport, Connecticut. Nabih couldn’t be with us tonight but would
like to thank the organization. - A person who
wasn’t comfortable being recognized as he is part of Anfeh.com.
Nonetheless, he is a son of Anfeh and
we, the friends of Anfeh.com, feel honored to recognize him. Hani
Al-Dayaa: Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Massachusetts.
IV- One more
thing. Today, we also like to recognize two people from Anfeh. - The
co-founder of Anfeh.com, Mr. Ziad Greige. We thank you for your work and
contribution to Anfeh and its people. Ever since Ziad and Hani started
Anfeh.com, Ziad was there making sure
the organization gets a strong start. - A second
person we would like to thank tonight is someone who has made
outstanding contributions to
Anfeh and its people over the years. He is always there for the Anfeh
community and we thank him deeply. I ask Hani and Ziad to join me at
stage. Please join me in welcoming Mr. George Jreige.
V- Now, please
join me in welcoming on stage Fr. Timothy to say few words.
VI- Now, please
join me in welcoming on stage Hani Al-Dayaa, the founder of Anfeh.com
VII- I ask Fr.
Timothy and Fr. Jean to say a prayer after which the buffet is open. Alf
Sa7tayn.
VIII- While you’re eating, we have a performance tonight by Al-Hayat Dabkeh Group. They have been great ambassadors of our culture adding a special touch to every event they perform at. |
