Supporting the Mustawsaf of Anfeh

The community polyclinic (Mustawsaf) of Anfeh reopened on the 17th of February 2004. Below is the announcement letter. Click on the letter to view a larger copy.

Since we believe the mustawsaf is an important facility that can be very helpful for the old and needy people in Anfeh, we quickly decided to support it with some funds to help buy medications and equipments. Hence, we organized in Anfeh.com Third Annual Party and were hoping to raise enough money from the party but we couldn't because of the small number of people who attended it. We want to support the mustawsaf with funds that can really help; we don't want to only send some money for the sake of sending it. That's why we started a "post-party" fund raising to increase the amount of money to a satisfying value.

So the "post-party" fund raising went well, and we were able to raise $1370 in almost a week. We give great thanks to the following people who generously contributed to the post-party fund raising:

We sent $2080 for the Mustawsaf in June 2004. Where there is a will, there is a way.

The following is the receipt letter sent to Anfeh.com by the parish council's president, Fr. Paul Awad. For some reason, the amount recorded in the letter is $2070. They either subtracted the cost of cashing the checks or made a typo. Click on the letter to view a larger copy.
